I will admit that after awhile I find the quality of Patterson's books to be very inconsistent. While he churns out an enormous amount of books by co-authors the quality of the string of novels in my estimation has suffered. I am at the point to allow the novels to be read for about a year and get readers opinions before jumping in on the latest cutting edge novel. This one does sound interesting by I'm going to wait and see. Happy NEW YEAR everyone.

I agree with Steve Capell, with James Patterson, I used to be able to count on a great book but many of the ones that he co-wrote later are not up to his standards. Therefore, whenever I see one of his books, I don't take the advertising without a grain of salt. I tend to go to book review sites that I respect to get their opinion. This one generally fared pretty well but not all of them do. So,if his books are like a box of chocolates, it is nice to have the guide to tell which one is the loved chocolate truffle and which is my dreaded maple cream!
