LITTLE MISS BRONTE
JANE EYRE
 BOTH
BY JENNIFER ADAMS
& ILLUSTRATED BY ALISON OLIVER
ABOUT THE BOOKS:
With the perennial popularity of classic writers like Charlotte Brontë and Lewis Carroll, Baby Lit™ is a fashionable way to introduce your toddler to the world of classic literature. With clever, simple text by Jennifer Adams, paired with stylish design and illustrations by Sugar’s Alison Oliver, Little Miss Brontë and Little Master Carroll are a must for every savvy parent’s nursery library.

MY THOUGHTS/REVIEW:
What next? Classics for toddlers? At first I was skeptical especially as a grandmother of a just turned two year old. However, after "reading" the books, I found they are charming. The books basically teach colors and numbers with dialogue such as "Blue caterpillar" accompanied by delightful illustrations to match by the talented Alison Oliver. However, also along with that which any toddler would delight in as well as learn from, the words and pictures illustrate high points from the classic literature. "Black shoes" shows a pair of stocking legs with black shoes going down a rabbit hole in, of course, ALICE IN WONDERLAND. So if you are looking at some well done and sturdy board books for that special little one, these are just perfect. I especially liked at how well made they are and not to be easily torn apart. There are other titles in the series but for now, this set will go to one lucky winner!
