LOVE YOU TO DEATH
BY SHANNON K. BUTCHER
ABOUT THE BOOK:
Delicate, expressive hands...long, graceful legs...One man is looking for his perfect woman--and he'll stop at nothing until he finds her.
LOVE YOU TO DEATH
It's been days since reporter Elise McBride has heard from her sister, Ashley. She's convinced Ashley has met with some kind of foul play, especially when she learns that bodies of other missing women have surfaced in and around Chicago--all victims of a brutal serial killer. Convinced her sister is still alive, Elise vows to risk everything to save her...
The last thing ex-cop Trent Brady needs is more blood on his hands. Yet when he catches Elise breaking into her sister's house, full of reckless determination and fear, he knows she needs his help. But just as desire ignites between them, a twisted madman sets his sights on Elise. Hell-bent on possessing her for himself, this psychopath won't rest until he has his perfect woman.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Since launching her career in 2007, award-winning author Shannon K. Butcher has penned more than eighteen titles, including the paranormal romance series, the Sentinel Wars; the action-romance series, the Edge; and a handful of romantic suspense novels and works of short fiction. Being a former engineer and current nerd, she frequently uses charts, graphs and tables to aid her in the mechanics of story design and to keep track of all those pesky characters and magical powers. An avid beader and glass artist, she spends her free time playing with colored glass and beads. You can find her online at http://shannonkbutcher.com/.

can't wait to read the blowtorch scene now! lol
I love the fun fact about the alarm system and the scary scene. It reminds me of reading In Cold Blood while babysitting. Scaaaaaaary!
(And the author comments on this post are great too. I loved how she wanted to be a dad, and about the dog who is almost a dust mop! She sounds like somebody by whom I'd like to read a book - or better yet, have as a neighbor and we could chat out in the yard!)

Quite frankly, facts 2-5 make me wonder is it's going to be a little too scary! Blowtorches, alarm systems, becoming a gun owner! My goodness.

This book changed the way Shannon looks at people. She would keep her distance whenever she sees someone that looks like Gary and wonder what they have in their basement.

A fact I learned at the Hatchette site was that Love You to Death was the first book that Shannon wrote after building her house. It was the book that helped her “break in” her new office.

I don't know if I'd call this a fun fact, but I wonder what was in the basement. walkerd@primus.ca
