I, ALEX CROSS: REVIEW, BOOK WINNERS AND NEW AUDIO GIVEAWAY!

I, ALEX CROSS
BY JAMES PATTERSON
MY REVIEW:

"A beloved Cross family member has been murdered" is the statement that immediately grabs your attention as you look at the cover of James Patterson's newest Alex Cross book. As fans of Alex Cross who really know him, probably suspect it wouldn't be a major character but then again, we have seen it happen with Alex before, right?

Torn away from his family again to investigate a gruesome murder of a relative, Alex is even more driven to find the killers because of his personal connection. The investigation leads Alex on a wild ride, along with readers, as it is discovered that the rich and famous of Washington , D. C., are patrons of a secret place of decadence and for them, delight...and how this discovery is connected to the Cross family member. While some may think it harmless ? play, this sick fun leads to murder connecting to one of Cross's most scariest villains yet. Blackmail adds to the danger of this case and right in the middle of it, Alex is confronted with another member of his family in danger--medical danger this time. Cross is determined not to lose another relative, and is pulled in two directions as his loyalties and job ethics are one way, and his care of his family member is another. As always, Patterson leaves you breathless while he also leaves us with questions about the future of Alex Cross as he drops clues in the last few paragraphs of the book. So as usual, I will now await the next Cross novel to see what it might be. I think this is one of Patterson's best Cross novels in several years!

I, ALEX CROSS
AUDIO BOOK!
BY JAMES PATTERSON

REMEMBER ABOUT THE BOOK?
You can't run

Detective Alex Cross is pulled out of a family celebration and given the awful news that a beloved relative has been found brutally murdered. Alex vows to hunt down the killer, and soon learns that she was mixed up in one of Washington's wildest scenes. And she was not this killer's only victim.

You can't hide

The hunt for her murderer leads Alex and his girlfriend, Detective Brianna Stone, to a place where every fantasy is possible, if you have the credentials to get in. Alex and Bree are soon facing down some very important, very protected, very dangerous people in levels of society where only one thing is certain--they will do anything to keep their secrets safe.

Alex Cross is your only hope to stay alive

As Alex closes in on the killer, he discovers evidence that points to the unimaginable--a revelation that could rock the entire world. With the unstoppable action, unforeseeable twists, and edge-of-your-seat suspense that only a James Patterson thriller delivers, I, Alex Cross is the master of suspense at his sharpest and best.

I don't know if I would like the audio book better. It depends on what mood I am in. Sometimes I just love to listen while I clean.
