PROFESSOR BINGO PRESENTS DAY:THANKSGIVING BOOK SET FOR KIDS GIVEAWAY

WELCOME TO
BOOKIN' WITH BINGO'S
"PROFESSOR BINGO
PRESENTS DAY"
I'M EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THIS TUESDAY'S
"PROFESSOR BINGO PRESENTS DAY"
CHILDREN/YOUNG ADULT BOOK CHOICE IS.....
GIVEAWAY ENDED
SET OF THREE THANKSGIVING BOOKS

FIVE SILLY TURKEYS
BY SALINA YOON

ABOUT THE BOOK:
Toddlers will love the silly Thanksgiving turkeys in this fun counting book full of silly turkeys doing very silly things!  From twirling on a dance floor to being chased by a bee to tanning in the sun, these are no ordinary Thanksgiving turkeys.  And this shiny fabric–tabbed book is a holiday treat that is sure to be gobbled up quickly.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR/ILLUSTRATOR:
Salina Yoon is the creator of dozens of innovative books for the very young. She specializes in developing novelty formats that are unique and interactive, including the foil tab, furry face, and slide-up series. Her bright and bold illustrations fill each one, most of which she wrote and designed. Ms. Yoon has published with Scholastic Inc, Simon & Schuster, and now exclusively publishes with Penguin Young Readers Group. Born in Busan, Korea, in 1972, Salina Yoon moved with her parents and sister to the United States at the early age of four. Here, she graduated with honors from the notable Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, California State University of Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design, then finally attended the prestigious art school, Art Center College of Design, in Pasadena, California with a major in Illustration. She worked as a book designer and art director for three years before freelancing on her own.

OVER THE RIVER
A TURKEY'S TALE
BY DEREK ANDERSON
ABOUT THE BOOK:
Over the River Mama, Papa, and Baby Turkey embark for their vegetarian Thanksgiving feast. But when a hungry boy and his dog start sniffing around, the turkeys have got to think fast before they become the main course! Readers of all ages will be wondering who's going to gobble up whom until the dessert finale.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Author/Illustrator Derek Anderson drew the very first picture he can ever remember drawing when he was in kindergarten. It was a picture of the Easter Bunny. And when he finished it, he gave it to the principal of his school who hung it on the wall of his office for the rest of the school year. Derek's fate was sealed. From then on, he knew he was going to be an artist.

Derek Anderson is the best-selling artist and co-creator of the New York Times bestselling Little Quack series. He is also the genius behind Gladys Goes Out To Lunch and Ballyhoo Bay. He and his wife, Cheryl, reside in Minneapolis, MN. Visit him at www.derekanderson.net.

 SILLY TILLY'S
THANKSGIVING DINNER
BY LILLIAN HOBAN
ABOUT THE BOOK:
Silly Tilly's memory is playing tricks on her. It's Thanksgiving day and she "forgot to remember" that she planned to have dinner for all her friends. After a series of mishaps, she unwittingly distributes her recipe cards instead of the invitations. Tilly naps by the fire and awakens at dinner time realizing that no feast has been prepared, just as her friends arrive--each with a delicious dish in hand. Hoban's sprightly, colorful watercolors and endearing cast of animal characters make this simple story an easy - reading holiday treat.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
The youngest of three children, Lillian Hoban was born in Philadelphia on May 18, 1925. She attended the Philadelphia Museum School of Art, studied dance for ten years (and danced with the Martha Graham dancers), taught Modern Dance and danced professionally in the 1950s.

She learned to draw still life and began to write her own stories only after having children (Phoebe, Brom, Esme and Julia), and based her tales on their experiences.

Lillian Hoban's I-Can- Read-Books about Arthur the Chimpanzee, and the Frances books (written by her former husband Russell Hoban) continue to be extremely popular among children as time goes by- the hallmark of classics.
