THIRD BINGLE BELLS BUNDLE: 3 LARGE PRINT MYSTERIES BUNDLE

Photobucket

THIRD BINGLE BELLS BUNDLE!
GIVEAWAY ENDED
THREE LARGE PRINT MYSTERIES!

IF YOU DON'T NEED A LARGE PRINT NOVEL, OR HAVE NEVER READ ONE, GO AHEAD AND GIVE THESE A TRY. IF NOTHING ELSE, THEY GIVE YOUR EYES/EYESTRAIN A BREAK. ALSO, THE BOOKS ARE GREAT FOR BUILDING MUSCLES CARRYING THEM!

LARGE PRINT MYSTERY # ONE:
THE HOLLOW
by NORA ROBERTS

For Fox, Caleb, Gage and the other residents of Hawkins Hollow, the number seven portends doom—ever since, as boys, they freed a demon trapped for centuries when their blood spilled upon The Pagan Stone...

Their innocent bonding ritual led to seven days of madness, every seven years. And now, as the dreaded seventh month looms before them, the men can feel the storm brewing. Already they are plagued by visions of death and destruction. But this year, they are better prepared, joined in their battle by three women who have come to The Hollow. Layla, Quinn, and Cybil are somehow connected to the demon, just as the men are connected to the force that trapped it.

LARGE PRINT MYSTERY # TWO:
DIVINE JUSTICE
by DAVID BALDACCI
Oliver Stone and the Camel Club return in David Baldacci's most surprising thriller yet... DIVINE JUSTICE.

Known by his alias, “Oliver Stone,” John Carr is the most wanted man in America. With two pulls of the trigger, the men who destroyed Stone’s life and kept him in the shadows were finally silenced.

But his freedom comes at a steep price: The assassinations he carried out prompts the highest levels of the U. S. government to unleash a massive manhunt. Behind the scenes, master spy Macklin Hayes is playing a very personal game of cat and mouse. He, more than anyone else, wants Stone dead.
With their friend and unofficial leader in hiding, the members of the Camel Club risk everything to save him. Now, as the hunters close in, Stone’s flight from the demons of his past will take him from the power corridors of Washington, D.C., to the small, isolated coal-mining town of Divine, Virginia—and into a world every bit as bloody and lethal as the one he left behind.

LARGE PRINT MYSTERY # THREE:
 SMOKE SCREEN
by SANDRA BROWN
When newswoman Britt Shelley wakes up to find herself in bed with Jay Burgess, a rising star detective in the Charleston PD, she remembers nothing of how she got there...or of how Jay wound up dead.
Handsome and hard-partying, Jay was a hero of the disastrous fire, which five years earlier had destroyed Charleston's police headquarters. The blaze left seven people dead, but the death toll would have been much higher if not for the bravery of Jay and three other city officials who risked their lives to lead others to safety.

Firefighter Raley Gannon, Jay's lifelong friend, was off-duty that day. Though he might not have been a front-line hero, he was assigned to lead the investigation into the cause of the fire. It was an investigation he never got to complete. Because on one calamitous night, Raley's world was shattered.

Scandalized, wronged by the people he trusted most, Raley was forced to surrender the woman he loved and the work to which he'd dedicated his life. For five years his resentment against the men who exploited their hero status to further their careers--and ruin his--has festered, but he was helpless to set things right.

That changes when he learns of Jay Burgess's shocking death and Britt Shelley's claim that she has no memory of her night with him. As the investigation into Jay's death intensifies, and suspicion against Britt Shelley mounts, Raley realizes that the newswoman, Jay's last sexual conquest, might be his only chance to get personal vindication--and justice for the seven victims of the police station fire.

But there are powerful men who don't want to address unanswered questions about the fire, and who will go to any lengths to protect their reputations. As Raley and Britt discover more about what happened that fateful day, the more perilous their situation becomes, until they're not only chasing after the truth but running for their lives.

Without a doubt it is a toss up between Nora Roberts or David Baldacci as I love both of these authors. If I must … I pick Nora Roberts as my first read if I win. I guess because I have started to read all of her mystery novels under pen name J. D. Robb. I also read recently her book “Blue Smoke” and I like how she logically moves the reader through a juicy crime mystery without divulging the suspect until the very end.

The third book by Sandra Brown also sounds intriguing. I like mystery novels that include police and firemen. This may be because when we moved to the small suburb of Kansas City many years ago I became a volunteer fireman. Had the opportunity to meet some real special people under some difficult circumstances. I haven’t read any of Sandra Brown novels, but when I did some research I found out this author has 51 novels that she has written. I may need to give one of her novels try out for size!

One final thought – If I am the lucky winner of your contest I may not need to use my reading glasses. The age thing has me needing to wear them when I read. Thanks for hosting this giveaway opportunity.
