ABOUT THE BOOKS:
A PROMISE TO BELIEVE IN-BOOK ONE:
Gwen, Beth, and Lacy Gallatin fashion a life for themselves in the Montana wilds, operating a roadhouse that is located at the crossroads of two major stage lines. When their father is accidentally killed, the oldest sister, Gwen, reasons that she's cursed. After all, death seems to haunt her: her mother, now her father…and she was married for a mere ten days before her husband died from a bout of measles.

As Gwen and her sisters struggle to maintain the inn on their own, an unexpected visitor adds to the mayhem. Hank Bishop claims to be searching for something in the possession of Gwen's late husband. But mayhem of another sort builds in Gwen's heart as she finds a growing attraction to this man. Can she dare to hope that love might again be hers?

A LOVE TO LAST FOREVER-BOOK TWO:
All Beth Gallatin has really wanted out of life is to settle down in one town, with one man, and raise a family. But with her father's roaming ways, she's always been denied that dream; instead, she found solace in reading romantic books. With her father's passing, she can, for the first time, dare to claim the rugged Montana frontier as her home.

Nick Lassiter has loved Beth since she first came to town, but she's always seemed to think of him more as a brother. Just when he finally gets Beth to consider him, however, a challenger threatens the affection growing between them. But neither Nick nor Beth is prepared when they must face the consequences of Nick's complicated past.

As a past fraught with unwise choices and guilt invades their world, can Nick and Beth find a love that will last forever?

Have you ever looked at a book and said, “No I don’t think that one is for me?” When I first looked at these two book covers that is exactly what I was thinking, but I have learned over the years to never ever, never ever, and I mean never ever judge a book by the cover. Psss – but sometimes I do! It’s not that I dislike the cover of these two books I think they really are amazing, but I will admit that romance writing isn’t my favorite genre. When I read that these novels were based in the Montana wilds centered on a roadhouse that served two major stage lines my excitement for these two books was peaked a bit – not much just a bit! The personal video of how Tracie writes to serve the Lord my excitement for these two books peaked even more. Then I read that she lives in Montana and is a Kansas native – that sealed it – anyone from the GREAT state of Kansas – land of OZ – flowing golden wheat – home of KU basketball – is a winner in my books! Can you tell that this country boy is from Kansas? Truthfully – I have read several romance novels in 2010 and loved them very much so the book I would love to read is the first in the series – “A Promise to Believe In.” GREAT review and thanks for the opportunity.

I would absolutely LOVE to win this set of books. This is reading that is right up my alley. If I had to pick I would of course pick the first in the series just to truly get to know the characters. I am currently reading the second book in the Montana Marriages series by Mary Connealy and these books sound very alike. Both said in the old west, both romances, both Christian fiction. I love the Montana Marriages series and think I would equally enjoy this series as well!

I went to Tracie Peterson's website and was very impressed. I love how she writes about what she is passionate about and does not put her faith in the background while doing it. She seems to really love her life and where she lives which is very refreshing. The picture of her when you first get to her website is just wow...I can't imagine why she wouldn't love living in a place with scenery like that! I really think I would like her fiction books and probably just anything she writes. The Song of Alaska series looks interesting.
