RUMORS
A LUXE NOVEL
BY ANNA GODBERSEN
ABOUT THE BOOK:
True love. False friends. Scandalous gossip. Welcome back to Manhattan, 1899.
As rumors fly about the untimely demise of New York's brightest star, Elizabeth Holland, all eyes are on those closest to the dearly departed: her sister, Diana, the family's only hope for redemption; Henry Schoonmaker, the flame Elizabeth never extinguished; Penelope Hayes, poised to claim all that her best friend left behind; even Elizabeth's former maid, Lina Broud, who discovers that while money matters and breeding counts, gossip is the new currency. In this delicious sequel to the New York Times bestselling The Luxe, nothing is more dangerous than a scandal . . . or more precious than a secret.

I really enjoyed the video about picking the dress and realized how difficult it would be to move in it! I couldn't really get the idea of the story from the first video so I checked some reviews. The one that made want to win this book said that the details were historically accurate, it is a page turner (like you said) and that older people would enjoy it too. So that is why I am entering for this book.

Hi! I think this would be a exciting and entertaining book to read. From watching the video it reminds me of "Gossip Girl" but in Victorian times. Thank you for a excellent giveaway! :)

I haven't read any of the Luxe series yet, but from the reviews I have read and the description of this book in particular I really want to give them a try! I love historical fiction but have not read much set in America (I tend to prefer European historical fiction). It sounds very intriguing and suspenseful!
Thanks,

This sounds like historical version of GOSSIP GIRL, one of my guilty pleasures. I have never read any of the LUXE series. Besides, the covers are gorgeous.

I visited the site and read about Anna. I found that her motivation to write was a rainy day. Also, I read praise for LUXE from the author of the GOSSIP GIRL series. I didn't know that the series was on the New York Times Bestseller list.
