HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY GIVEAWAY DOUBLE TREAT!

WIN TWO VALENTINE BOOKS!

GIVEAWAY ENDED
DEATH OF A VALENTINE
A Hamish Macbeth Mystery
BY M.C. BEATON

ABOUT THE BOOK:
Amazing news has spread across the Scottish countryside. The most famous of highland bachelors, police sergeant Hamish Macbeth, will be married at last. Everyone in the village of Lochdubh adores Josie McSween, Macbeth's newest constable and blushing bride-to-be.

While locals think Josie is quite a catch, Hamish has a case of prenuptial jitters. After all, if it weren't for the recent murder of a beautiful woman in a neighbouring village, there wouldn't be a wedding at all. For it was a mysterious Valentine's Day package--delivered to the victim before her death--that initially drew Hamish and Josie together on the investigation. As they work side by side, Hamish and Josie soon discover that the woman's list of admirers was endless, confirming Hamish's suspicion that love can be blind, deaf . . . and deadly.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
M.C. Beaton lives in the Cotswolds with her husband. In addition to the Hamish Macbeth series, she writes the Agatha Raisin mystery series.

 GIVEAWAY ENDED
MY ZOMBIE VALENTINE
by KATIE MACALISTER
ANGIE FOX
MARIANNE MANCUSI
& LISA CACH

ABOUT THE BOOK:
This book is a quartet of comedic zombie romances by bestselling authors will keep your attention as you laugh your way through Valentine's Day!

FOUR WOMEN ARE ABOUT TO DIG UP THE TRUTH!

Tired of boyfriends who drain you dry? Sick of guys who stay out all night howling at the moon? You can do better. Some men want you not only for your body, but your brains. Especially your brains.

It’s true! There are men out there who care—early-rising, down-to-earth, indefatigable men who’ll follow you for miles. They’ll take the time to surprise you, over and over. One sniff of that perfume, and you’ll have to use a shotgun to fight them off. And then, once you get together, all they want is to share a nice meal. And another. And another.

Romeo and Juliet, eat your hearts out.

ABOUT THE AUTHORS:
KATIE MACALISTER
For as long as she can remember, Katie MacAlister has loved reading. Growing up in a family where a weekly visit to the library was a given, Katie spent much of her time with her nose buried in a book. Despite her love for novels, she didn’t think of writing them until she was contracted to write a non-fiction book about software. Since her editor refused to allow her to include either witty dialogue or love scenes in the software book, Katie swiftly resolved to switch to fiction, where she could indulge in world building, tormenting characters, and falling madly in love with all her heroes. Two years after she started writing novels, Katie sold her first romance, Noble Intentions. More than thirty books later, her novels have been translated into numerous languages, been recorded as audiobooks, received several awards, and are regulars on the New York Times, USA Today, and Publishers Weekly bestseller lists. She also writes for the young adult audience as Katie Maxwell. Katie lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and dogs, and can often be found lurking around online. FOR MORE ABOUT KATIE, VISIT HER WEBSITE HERE

ANGIE FOX
Angie Fox is the New York Times bestselling author of the Accidental Demon Slayer series. She claims that researching her books can be just as much fun as writing them. In the name of fact-finding, Angie has ridden with Harley biker gangs, explored the tunnels underneath Hoover Dam and found an interesting recipe for Mamma Coalpot’s Southern Skunk Surprise (she’s still trying to get her courage up to try it). Angie earned a Journalism degree from the University of Missouri. She worked in television news and then in advertising before beginning her career as an author. FOR MORE ABOUT ANGIE, VISIT HER WEBSITE HERE

MARIANNE MANCUSI
When not out exposing scams and righting wrongs, Emmy award–winning TV news producer Marianne Mancusi is probably writing. Before she was old enough to even pick up a pen, she’d dictate stories for her ever-patient mother to transcribe. Now, as a so-called “adult,” she’s left the fanciful unicorn and princess stories behind in favor of funny chick lit tales in which her uninhibited heroines can get drunk and dance on tables if they so desire. As if writing and TV producing weren’t enough to keep her busy, Marianne also enjoys snowboarding, barhopping, shopping, dancing to '80s music, and her favorite guilty pleasure––video games. She lives in Boston's historic North End with her dog Molly. You can write to Marianne online at www.mariannemancusi.com. FOR MORE ABOUT MARIANNE, VISIT HER WEBSITE HERE

LISA CACH
When not reading or writing — or more likely, procrastinating writing (a.k.a. an essential part of the writing process, during which ideas ferment) — I can often be found out in the garden, obsessively rearranging plants and plucking weeds. I like the physical reality of gardening: I use my muscles, I get dirty, I create something I can look at. It’s a good antidote to the purely internal work of writing. After graduating, I worked for three years on the graveyard shift at a crisis line. I enjoyed it well enough, but wasn’t satisfied. My heart was turning me back towards writing, and I decided to try again. I wrote two more books, submitted them to publishers without an agent, and was working on a third book –and on the verge of giving up yet again, given all the rejection letters I was receiving– when I finally heard that Chris Keeslar at Dorchester Publishing was interested in “The Changeling Bride.” That moment was probably the happiest of my writing career, before or since. My writing career since has taken me from paranormals to chick lit to romantic erotica, and most recently to a young adult novel, “Wake Unto Me” (March 2011). I’m hoping to do more YA, as I enjoyed writing it so much, and I’m also taking a course on illustrating children’s books. I don’t know what the future will bring, but I’m content for now to enjoy the present. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT LISA, VISIT HER WEBSITE HERE

Well since this is a St. Valentine's Day without my hubby (not due to death) I will be spending my early evening with my lawyer to start the divorce process. Ironic and it isn't me that wants the divorce so fast. Otherwise I will then spend the rest of my night with a good book, tv and my son.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Sorry to hear everything that Nutz4reading is going through ... not a good way to spend Valentine's day. I hope next year's Valentine's day is a day worth celebrating.

The wife and I will be going to our favorite fish restaurant tonight Bonefish. I am looking forward to our date!

I love the brain munching Zombie type boys that will follow you to the end of earth! Chick Lit is also a big thing with me since I find it's a fun way for me to break loose & let down my hair, so to speak! Also, the paparnormal intrigues me & can keep me glued to the story for hours on end without wanting to put the book down. All these author's, some of which are already my favorites, sound like great reads to look forward to so I can unwind from the daily stressers of life.

Hi,

Sad to say, I didn't get anything on Valentine's Day since I don't have anyone special in my life. Waaa Waaaaaaa......but if I did, I would go for the classical box of delicious chocolate candy (Lindsor's are my favorite)& a bouquet of flowers, I love carnations in assorted colors mixed together or Orquids. That plus one of my favorite author's books would've been my perfect gift for Valentine's Day since there's nothing better than reading a good book, while surrounded with a wonderful aroma from a bouquet of flowers while eating delicious chocolates! YUMMY! Makes my mouth water just thinking about it!

When I read "a weekly visit to the library was a given, Katie spent much of her time with her nose buried in a book". I identified completely with her. My mother encouraged me to read, and let me read HER libary books, too (because our small-town librarian would not let me check out "adult" books_.
But then she spent the rest of my childhood and teen years scolding me for always having my nose in a book!

Because I love Scotland and Hamish, I'd prefer the M C Beaton book to read about Hamish's wedding--if it comes off.
