LET'S GET COZY! DEATH ON EAT STREET: A PREVIEW AND GIVEAWAY

GIVEAWAY ENDED
DEATH ON EAT STREET
A Biscuit Bowl Food Truck Mystery
BY J. J. COOK

ABOUT THE BOOK:
Zoe Chase always wanted to own her own restaurant—but first, she’ll have to serve up a heaping helping of meals on wheels, with a side of mystery...

When she’s once again passed over for a promotion at work, Zoe decides to take the big leap and go for her dream. She quits, gives up her fancy digs, and buys a fixer-upper diner in a shady part of town. To keep above water during the renovation, she buys a used food truck to serve the downtown and waterfront of Mobile, Alabama.

Zoe starts to dish out classic Southern food—but her specialty is her deep-fried biscuit bowls that blow traditional bread bowls away.
After a promising start, things start to go downhill faster than a food truck without brakes. First, someone tries to rob the cash register. Next, Zoe is threatened by the owner of a competing food truck for taking their spot. And when the owner ends up dead inside Zoe’s rolling restaurant, Zoe and her sole employee, Ollie, find themselves hopping out of the frying pan into the fryer. They need to find the real killer, before both of them get burned.

+1 I would like to read Death On Eat Street because this woman is really trying to get ahead. Everything is working against her. Couldn't believe someone would steal from her cash register. Then, the dead body of her boss in her diner. When and how will her troubles end?

+1 I learned that the authors are married to one another. I also discovered their mystery plots have a bit of the Paranormal and some of the mysteries take place in Sweet Pepper, Tn. in the heart of the Smoky mtns.

Zoe keeps on trying, doesn't she? (Not sure if I could eat a deep fried biscuit bowl.) I'd like to see how she figures out who the murderer is.

Zoe, the main character, sounds like she starts with a rough beginning with jobs. She gets over looked for a promotion. Gives up all her fancy digs to start her own restaurant and then the owner is found dead. I want to see how Zoe helps with finding the killer in her busy time.

I love that this involves a food truck on a waterfront. Something about water makes me think vacation and thus ESCAPE! Please count me in!

Oh and how cool is it that the book is written by a married couple. That is possibly a dream of mine (to work with my husband anyway).

There were two things I really liked. One - I found out that this new book Death on Eat Street includes recipes! Yes oh yes! Two - They have a printable list of their books. For me this is huge, because when I like an author, I like to indulge in lots of their books. This is vital!
