**Susannah Hardy is the author of the Greek to Me Mysteries, just coming out this past January 6, 2015 from Berkley Prime Crime. If you like your mysteries cozy, culinary, and a little bit crazy, you’re going to love Georgie and the gang at Bonaparte Bay.**

**Suze is a member of the New England Chapter of Sisters in Crime, the Romance Writers of America and the Connecticut Chapter of RWA. Susannah is originally from Northern New York State (Way north! Only a few miles from the Canadian border), graduated from St. Lawrence University, and now lives in Connecticut with her husband, teenaged son, and Elvira the Wonder Cat.**

**ONE OF SUSANNAH HARDY'S YUMMY RECIPES (CHECK HER WEBSITE HERE FOR THIS ONE AND MORE:**

**Watermelon, Mint & Feta Salad**

__INGREDIENTS:__***4 cups of refrigerated, ripe seedless watermelon, rind removed and discarded, flesh cut into bite-size pieces**

***2 T. fresh squeezed lemon juice (about half a lemon)**

***3 T. good olive oil**

***3 T. fresh mint leaves (or a small handful)**

**1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese**

__DIRECTIONS:__**--Prepare watermelon. If not assembling salad immediately, place melon in refrigerator until just before serving time.**

**--When you’re ready to serve, place lemon juice into a cup or small bowl and drizzle in the olive oil, whisking constantly.**

**--Pour dressing over the melon.**

**--Tear the mint leaves into pieces and add to melon.**

**--Toss gently to coat mixture with dressing.**

**--Add a bit of fresh cracked black pepper if you like a little punch. (Salt is not needed–the feta is plenty salty)**

**--Sprinkle on feta and garnish with a sprig of mint.**

**This salad is delicious on its own or as a topping for some crisp romaine lettuce.**

**Serves 4.**
