Isaacson's biography can be read in several ways. Walter Isaacson, the CEO of the Aspen Institute, has been chairman of CNN and the managing editor of Time magazine. He is the author of Benjamin Franklin: An American Life and of Kissinger: A Biography, and the coauthor of The Wise Men: Six Friends and the World They Made. He lives in Washington, D.C., with his wife and daughter. 

MY THOUGHTS:

This is a book I bought myself to share with a reader. I have my own copy but bought an extra for one lucky person. I am so excited to read it. I believe Steve Jobs is a man who generations will look back on as we do the likes of Thomas Edison and say how he literally changed the world. Reading and hearing a lot about the book and the man before he died as well as before the book came out, I have no rose colored glasses about his being human....with good sides and bad as well. However, the impact and talent of Steve Jobs can't be denied, and with my son being in the field of computers in his work, I've known of Steve Jobs for a long time. Now to be able to know more details about the man, the power, the genius that is Steve Jobs, is sure to be fascinating. Some lucky winner will be, I hope, also very glad to get this prize!
