This has a triple memory for me. This is the day, that same year that my friend at work told me he had lung cancer. He died about three months later. Also another friend was visiting NYC with her daughter and took the Twin Towers tour the day before.
Many of the first responders are dealing with Multiple Myeloma and other cancers because of the chemical waste in the air. Please pray for all of them and their families too.
It's such a shared experience too. Co-workers, who were elementary school age when it happened, were relating how it was shown to them in the classrooms.
UPDATE: Bingo is doing better and wanted to take a minute to wish you all safe holidays. With all that is going on in our country now, we hope you all are safe and healthy. Enjoy your books and KEEP READING!
