How Successful People Think:
Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life
by John C. Maxwell

About Author: John C. Maxwell, known as America's expert on leadership, speaks in person to hundreds of thousands of people each year. He is the founder of several leadership organizations, including Maximum Impact. A New York Times bestselling author, Dr. Maxwell has written over thirty books.

About the Book:How Successful People Think (derived from Maxwell's previous book, Thinking for a Change) will teach readers the 11 secrets successful people know. Arranged in an easy-to-follow format, America's leadership expert, John C. Maxwell, teaches readers how to expand their thinking and achieve their dreams.

The 11 keys to successful thinking include:

Big-Picture Thinking - seeing the world beyond your own needs and how that leads to great ideas
Focused Thinking - removing mental clutter and distractions to realize your full potential
Creative Thinking - thinking in unique ways and making breakthroughs
Shared Thinking - working with others to compound results
Reflective Thinking - looking at the past to gain a better understanding of the future.
Kick Loose from the Overbearing and Underhanded Jerks at Work and Get What You Want Out of Your Job
by Marc Hershon & Jonathan Littman

About the authors:A contributing editor for Playboy, Jonathan Littman is the coauthor of The Ten Faces of Innovation. He has also written two nonfiction books about famous computer hackers, The Watchman and The Fugitive Game. Marc Hershon is a branding expert who has dreamt up names for countless hit products, including BlackBerry, Swiffer, Pentium, and Dasani. He is also a comedy veteran who has worked closely with Jerry Seinfeld, Dana Carvey, Paul Reiser, and Robin Williams.
About the book:Face it, whether your company has 10 employees or 10,000, you must grapple with people you can't stand in the office. Luckily Jonathan Littman and Marc Hershon have written I HATE PEOPLE!, a smart, counter-intuitive, and irreverent turn on the classic workplace self-help book that will show you how to identify the Ten Least Wanted--the people you hate--while revealing the strategies to neutralize them. Learn to fly right by the "Stop Sign" (nay-sayer) and rise above the pronouncements of the "Know-it-None." I HATE PEOPLE! will teach you how to carve out more time for yourself by becoming a "Soloist"--one of those bold individuals daring to work alone or collaborate with a handful of other talented people....while artfully deflecting the rest.

In this delightfully candid and astute memoir, Peterson tells a story full of family, love, business, politics, ambition, idealism, failure and fulfillment. My favorite one of the three is The Education Of An American Dreamer. All three books look great, but my first choice for my dear husband would be The Education Of An American Dreamer. He likes reading books about people's success stories.

I love your blog! Thank you for such great giveaways!

I'd love to win "The Education of an American Dreamer" for my father. He loves biographies. As one of 16 children born to a very impoverished Appalachian family, I think he'd find many commonalities in this book.
