I really love egg nog. I know I am one of the few people who do, but I look forward to each Christmas when I can buy me a little carton of egg nog and enjoy it all to myself!
I am hoping your emergency wasn't anything dire and that all is well now.
Favorite holiday beverage? Gosh, we don't have one! I guess that means I truly need this book:)

Depends on the holiday...My husband makes a mean Chocolate Almond Martini that's awfully tasty at Christmas...I love a good margarita over the summer holidays....A cosmo is good for those "red" holidays such as Valentine's Day and Canada Day...

First of all hope all is well with the family emergency....
The drink that comes to mind for me is a year round favorite, a bloody mary (I really like tomato juice!) However... Pam (the post above me) mentioned a chocolate almond martini that I have never heard of but man that sounds good! LOL
I am pretty simple and like fresh lemonade.

My new summer favorite is Firefly. It's sweet tea flavored vodka. Mixed with lemonade it's the perfect cooler for a hot summer afternoon. I teach so every summer afternoon is a holiday!!!!

My favorite warm weather drink, that can be consumed at any warm weather holiday, is Captain Morgan's rum with Coke and a squeeze of lime. Can't get any easier than that!
