MY REACTION/REVIEW:

I found the stories to be interesting, funny, poignant, and very entertaining. It was nice to hear about so many different people and their "doxxies" and their stories. So many people sent in pictures and stories that I am sorry that Bingo and the family didn't send in about me, Ms. M! I know they always wonder how anyone could have given up a not quite two year old, house broken, sweet and loving, well behaved and very perceptive dog like me!

I liked so many of the stories. Many made me laugh while many made me cry. One funny one described people with MDS...or Multiple Dachshund Syndrome because we know that once you have one of us, two or three more is even better. I was touched by "Katrina's Little Angel" about the doxxies that survived Hurricane Katrina who were found abandoned in a puppy mill! GRRR!

"Don't Read this while You're Eating" is the story of a rescued dog named Skippy who was paralyzed and in a doggie wheelchair and how the new owner came to understand and care for Skippy while Skippy made the owner a better person for it.

I could go on and on, but what with DOG AND CAT BOOK DAY almost over, I am ready to collapse! I hope you all will look into Happy Tails Books--Stories of Hope and find one or more breeds you are interested in and will purchase a book as all the money goes to help these kinds of dogs as well as to help fight animal cruelty. Maybe you will even be an author by contributing a story. Thanks to Kyla and our friends at Happy Tails for introducing us to our first book that you can find reviewed here on our blog.
BINGO WANTS YOU ALL TO KNOW
THAT SHE HAS ORDERED A NEW HAPPY

THANKS TO MS. M AND TO
EVERYONE FOR PARTICIPATING IN

I have a friend with a dachshund and this sounds like the perfect book for her! Why is Ms. M sticking her tongue out at us?
